The author's name sounds familiar ? It's because she wrote one of my favorite coming of age book, Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda. The Upside of Unrequited follows 17 year old, Molly Peskin-Suso who knows all about unrequited love, she can't stand the idea of rejection so she tries to be careful, no matter how her twin sister, Cassie tells her to woman up. When a cute girl enters Cassie's life, for the first time ever she's a lovesick mess which kinda makes Molly feels a bit lonely. Luckily, Cassie's new girlfriend comes with a ''cute hipster boy'' sidekick and Molly plans to win him over. So she'll get her first kiss and her sister back. But there's one problem, Molly's co-worker, Reid.. Who could ruin Molly's plans but that's only if she fall for him, right ?
